NO MORE "DRUGS"

My name is Brother Kevin, and I am glad that you are reading this article. I will try not to bore you. Everything that you will read in this article will be the truth. The truth is what I stand for because I have the Love of God in my heart. First of all, I will enlighten you on the subject of "DRUGS," and how they almost ruined my life. When I was a young boy the word DRUG(s) was not in my vocabulary. The life I lived was a typical "go to church and ignore the message of repentance" life. You will find out later that if I would have repented of my SINS, I could have missed a troublesome life.

While growing up I marveled at the older men or "so-called men" who sold drugs. That is what my attention began to go toward. When I was in the 11th grade, I wanted to make money so an associate and I bought crack cocaine from another guy to sell. Now get this, I was staying at home with my parents. I would always lie to them when a drug user would come over looking for me. There was even a time when my parents looked into the situation, but I did not tell the truth (once again).

The money started getting pretty big, and everything was rolling along pretty fair. I graduated from high school. Now, while all of this was going on I was yet a sinner on my way to HELL. I eventually went to college to get an education. However, the only thing I was interested in was DRUGS. I was also in to smoking marijuana and drinking the best liquor that money could buy. I also had a girlfriend on the side. So, as you can see, I was a sinner. One day while in the drug house, the police kicked the door in and found a pistol that was stolen. Consequently, that would be my very first charge. Now keep in mind that I had drugs there that were not found. I later ended up moving back home. Living at home was not for me, and I moved again to Little Rock, Arkansas, and I began to sell drugs again.

There were times when I had guns pulled on me. I could have been killed, but God didn't see fit for me to be slaughtered. I also picked up other felonies while traveling on this evil journey. So, I ended up doing time in Texas. (I'm not telling everything because this would become a long article.) Everywhere I moved, drugs were in my face - whether I was selling or using them. I was not getting an education at this point in my life. I was wrapped up in money and women. Now, everything is getting ready to come to an end. I was sent back to Texas (Earlier, I was busted in Texas for transporting a large amount of marijuana.) I was getting ready to face TEN YEARS in prison. The Lord stepped in and supplied me with every thing I needed (REPENTANCE!). I accepted him in my life, and from that day forward I have enjoyed salvation!

When I first started this article I said that drugs almost killed me. I also hate that I ruined so many lives with the drugs that I sold. If I could start over, I would. Now, if you are young or old, the devil has something for you. Marijuana is the "gateway drug." It opens an individual up for everything else. Before you go the road that I traveled, give God a try. You may not have the opportunity that was given to me. So please REPENT now before it is too late.
