God loved mankind so much that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of the world. (St. John 3:16) Although man has continued to sin since the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God has still continued to show his love. God continues to use his lovingkindness to draw mankind to repentance. Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. KJV

While we were dirty and polluted in the blood of our sins, God approached us with lovingkindness, and he offered life unto us – not death, but life—eternal life. Ezekiel 16:8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine. KJV

God is showing his love to those who are still lying, cursing, gambling, stealing, fighting, fornicating, shacking, committing adultery, drinking, committing homosexuality, smoking, having idols, having covetousness, using illegal drugs, practicing witchcraft, engaging in lasciviousness and/or wearing immodest clothes. In fact, God is showing his love to those who hate him. John 3:19-20 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. KJV

God delights in lovingkindness. Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. KJV God has great love toward mankind even while many continue to live sinful lives. Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) KJV In addition to being a God of love and mercy, however, he is also a God of wrath (judgment) and he will punish all sinners for their refusal to accept his love.

Do you want the love of God in your heart or do you want hatred in your heart? Do you want to love God and keep his commandments or do you want to disobey God (sin) and hate him? YOU CANNOT LOVE GOD AND WILLFULLY COMMIT SIN AT THE SAME TIME! ACCORDING TO JESUS, A PERSON DOES NOT LOVE CHRIST IF HE/SHE DOES NOT OBEY HIM. John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. KJV The love of God in your heart will cause you to love God, love all of your enemies, and forgive them. Unforgiveness and hatred work together. Do you need to REPENT of hatred in your heart? Do you need to REPENT of unforgiveness in your heart? If so, let godly sorrow work repentance to salvation in your life right now. God loves you!
